It is a pity that Odubote, Nitel, Ita-Opo, and Oke-Posun roads all in Epe Local Government Area of Lagos State are very bad whenever it rains.
How do we explain the deplorable state of the roads in the area? The Chairman of the council, Mr Segun Agbaje, does not bother to alleviate the sufferings of the people of the area in terms of dredging waterways and patching up potholes of deplorable roads.
We are always met with craters and gullies of unimaginable proportions that baffle one how we go through these roads every day.
The Lagos State government should deliver us from an inefficient council chairman and his avalanche of promises to repair the roads after spending one year plus in office.
Indeed, we may not survive the next few rains in the area if a drastic action is not taken.
This is calling on the Epe Local Government authority to rise up to its responsibilities.
