Technology Distributions and eBeam have entered into partnership to boost interaction in businesses and in the educational sector.
With the technology, meetings could be held by businesses even with participants in different locations. The technology can incorporate up to 25 locations at a time.
Speaking on the technology in Lagos, while addressing resellers at the formal unveiling of the eBeam-TD partnership, the Regional Manager, Africa and Marketing Manager, Europe, Middle East, and Africa, eBeam, Ms. Michelle Bulbring, said, "The systems recognises that schools and businesses often have tight budgets.
"Therefore, the eBeam solutions can be used on the projectors and white boards that you already own or on the wall in the absence of a white board.
She affirmed that the eBeam systems were designed to adapt to everyday needs, while bringing interactivity to existing environment with relevant solutions that works.
She said, "The eBeam solution is upgradeable, pocket-friendly, flexible, scalable and does not require professional installation.
Bulbring explained that the choice of TD as the sole distributor for West Africa was based on specific measurable criteria.
The criteria, she said, included: strong reach in sub Saharan Africa; good corporate governance to match international standards; good financial muscle to keep large stock and engage in meaningful marketing; and a highly motivated distribution channel.
Introducing the partnership earlier, the Managing Director, TD Sales and Marketing, Mrs. Chioma Chimere, said that the eBeam systems were simple, affordable, and capable of adding immense value to Nigeria's efforts to improve the educational sector and grow Small and Medium Enterprises.
She said the eBeam solution would bring about more learning in schools, better performance in examinations, global recognition for Nigerian education and lead to a more informed citizenry.
