Actually, why am I a Nigerian? Does it really worth it, if I die defending Nigeria? Or, can anyone truly serve our nation with love and strength? It is a big shame and a great scam that even, after obtaining my travelling e-passport A02294095 legally on July 19, 2010 in Abeokuta, the same passport being rejected at the German embassy, Lagos for error in lamination. The same Nigerian Immigration Service that issued the passport ab initio is asking me for about N55,000 in order for them to provide me a replacement. Mind you, not for error made by me but by the so-called NIS.  This is annoying, disgusting and inhuman. Even, the officials said it might take me more than a month for the e-passport to be processed and not even completed. The worst side of the story is that I need to go to Abuja from Abeokuta. Now, where would I stay in Abuja? On the street or under the bridge?  At the end of the day, I might end up being arrested and paraded as a terrorist or a robbery suspect. Or worst still be a victim of terrorist attack or accident. It appears every organisation in Nigeria is corrupt and only the masses are suffering while our leaders are smiling. I am no more proud to be a Nigerian, even in my own country. Though I have no means to fight for my right, other Nigerians should confirm their passport's lamination so well before making any travel visa application or proceeding on their trip. Please, President Goodluck Jonathan come to my rescue.
