On Monday, May 7, around 5pm, at a salon, I stumbled onto a TV programme on a local TV station, SuperScreen. The bit of the cartoon I saw showed animated individuals in the act of foreplay and then, sex. Needless to say how shocked I was that such a programme (a cartoon) could show on screen at all and then, at that time when children especially are back from school and may be watching TV. This kind of programme may have a negative impact on the already fragile, moral formation of both children and adults alike.
A general plea is that the TV station (and indeed all other radio and TV stations, newspapers) should monitor and edit their programmes and publications for the good of all. Programmes that show during viewing times must be checked.
