Former club champion Chris Obije won the Captain's Day golf competition to mark the end of the tenure of the outgoing Ikeja Club Captain Tunji Adeyemo.
To come tops in the event, which ended last Saturday, the 5-hanicapped Obije, netted a score of 65, winning the tournament by 3-shots.
Adebiyi Fetuga, who signed for a nett score of 68, came second after beating Rasaki Muritala by 1-shot, while Muyideen Olaitan, who also carded a score of 69, lost the third place on count back.
Jing Hua Lim topped the winners list in the ladies category after a net score of 73 while Alaba Adetunji ducked in the second position, signing for 76-nett.
Former Lady Captain of the Ikoyi Club 1938 (golf section) Angela Adegboyega came third while Funke Majekodunmi completed the top four in the category.
Tour professional Chidi Tobias ruled the professional event winner's chart after shooting 73, defeating Tunde Raimi by 2-shots. Femi Johnson's 79 placed him in the third position.
Other winners in the weeklong competition are Chima Nwakwo, winner of the veteran category; David Ogunseye winner the longest drive day-1; Taiwo Adewole, Akinbo Akomolafe, winner men's guest; and Lanre Oshinaike.
Mrs. Omatshola Williams, Mercy Freely, Evelyn Oyome, Daniel Aikoye, Oladeide Yinka, Blessing Igho are others winners in the tournament.
