Troubled reggae icon Majek Fashek thinks Nigerian rappers lack the ‘swag’ to go along with their skills.
While admitting Nigerians can actually rap, Majek says, in an exclusive interview with Nigerian Entertainment Today, that their American counterparts are light years ahead of them. 'You know you can't compare American rap with Nigerian rap. Nigerians can rap but they don't have the swagger of the Americans'
In recent times, it turns out that one of the most used words in Nigerian music has been the word 'swagger'; with ‘swag‘ becoming the SI Unit for measuring images and persona.
But the legendary musician, who’s going through some of the most difficult times of his life and career thinks Nigerian rappers hardly have it.

Meanwhile Fashek also says his son has been signed by US rapper Lil’ Wayne (we could not immediately confirm this from Wayne’s camp).
