Veteran actor, Enebeli, dies at 65

enebeli_elebuwa-VETERAN actor and 'Mr. Andrew' of the popular "I'm checking out" television commercial in the eighties, Enebeli Elebuwa, who has been suffering from stroke for some months is dead.

He died in a New Delhi, India hospital Tuesday night.

He joins a growing list of some Nollywood veteran actors who have passed on recently, among them Sam Loco, Ashley Nwosu David Ihezie and Pete Eneh.

National Secretary of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, Abubakar Yakub, confirmed the death of the seasoned actor yesterday afternoon.

His former colleagues, including the AGN President, Ibinabo Fiberesima, are expected to meet his family to arrange for the return of his body back to Nigeria.

The late Enebeli hails from Upkane in Otagunu Local Council, of Delta State and is married with children.
