The Delta State Unified Local Government Service retirees have been subjected to a macabre dance of sorts since the introduction of Contributory Pension Scheme in 2011. The musical rhythm has been irregular and stressful. Yesterday, it was Pension Fund Custodians refusing to sign up. Today, the Central Bank of Nigeria has its own musical score, one step forward two steps backwards. Tomorrow, it may be floods destroying vital documents. The prayer is for the Finger of God to touch individuals to ensure early payments and blissful dance.
