The Association of Resident Doctors at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi Araba, has called off its indefinite strike.
The ARD-LUTH president, Dr. Adetunji Adenekan, who gave the announcement on Friday, said the decision was influenced by intervention from its national body and the Nigeria Medical Association.
He said the decision was in line with ARD's desire to forestall unnecessary loss of lives of innocent and well meaning Nigerians.
