Follow @9jaLife A 3-year old boy is now on danger list in a private hospital after unidentified gunmen severally shot and wounded him, killed his father while abducting his mother in a yuletide tragedy at the weekend. The gory incident took place on Oghodua Street, Off Iyeware Street in Ohovbe Area of Benin City when the boy's father, a Sales Representative to pharmacy Company was returning home after the day's business. LEADERSHIP sources said that the victim, Olowo Lafe who was attacked and killed a stone throw from his residence had two weeks earlier escaped a kidnap attempt by unknown persons at an undisclosed location. Mr Lafe who was returning home in company of his wife and three little children in his private car, a Toyota SIENNA with registration number AGL-545-AQ when the gunmen who might have ambushed him, opened fire, killed him and dragged his wife into their vehicle. The bullet-ridden car still had the right door opened revealing blood-stained seats. Sources said that after the shooting, Lafe lost control and crashed the vehicle into the fence of his apartment, a move neighbors said could have been avoided if the road was motorable. Contacted, the spokesperson, Edo Police Command, DSP Anthony Airhoyo, stated that he was yet to be briefed on the sad incident. Source Follow @9jaLife
