AS the search for a deputy governor for Kaduna State continues, a group, Southern Kaduna Professionals, has urged Vice President Namadi Sambo not to foist the state's Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman, Ambassador Nuhu Bajoga, on Governor Murktar Ramallan Yero.
"Further to the ongoing political situation of Kaduna State, arising from the death of late Governor Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa and also the back door selection of Ambassador Nuhu Bajoga, Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party in Kaduna State as Deputy Governor-nominee to the newly sworn in Governor Mukhtar Ramalan Yero, under Vice President Namadi Sambo's political scheming and bidding, using Governor Yero as the man behind mask would be unacceptable," the group said.
In a statement signed by it's co-ordinator, Dr. John Danfulani, the group added: "We are against the selection of Nuhu Bajoga, the present state chairman of PDP, as deputy governor-nominee from Southern Kaduna area, because it is a calculated plot to deprive the Southern Kaduna area from holding the PDP State Chair that is of immense political value and significance."
