Nine members, including a pastor of the African Church Solution camp, Abeokuta, died while several others got injured in an auto crash along Abeokuta-Siun-Sagamu expressway. The accident involved an 18-seater Hiace bus belonging to Lukdos Transport Company and an artriculated lorry marked LAGOS JJJ 489 XB, occurred at Ototo village, few meters away from the state capital.
The passengers of the ill-fated Lagos-bound bus were said to be members of the African Church Solution camp, along Ewang Estate in Abeokuta, who were said to be travelling for a wedding ceremony of another member of the church.
The accident occurred at about 7.30 a.m., when the truck coming from an opposite direction lost control and rammed into the bus.
Eight of the passengers, including three males and five females, who were members of the same church, died on the spot as well as the driver of the ill-fated bus.
