The video is one long auto-tuned chorus of ‘your waist’, interspersed with the names of Nigerian and Ghanaian movie stars, Genevieve Nnaji, Tiwa Savage, Tonto Dikeh and Yvonne Nelson whose ‘medicine’ he has. A shirtless Iyanya sings his part and a bikini clad Emma does hers. However, what the song lacks in lyrical content it more than makes up in repetition of the term ‘my waist’ / ‘ur waist’, so this is one song that will definitely get stuck in your head for a while. Incidentally, I wonder if NBC will also ban this song seeing all the ‘semi-nakedness’ in it and the ode to lesbianism that Iyanya has on his t-shirt in the last scene. Follow @9jaLife
