City People is reporting the story thus: A Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, (RCCG) in Enerhen in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State recently burnt himself to death. City People gathered that the decision of the Pastor, simply identified as Pastor Celestine to take his life was as a result of allegedly impregnating a choir member of the church whose name was given as Rita. It was learnt that the deceased pastor had pleaded with Rita to abort the pregnancy in order for people not to know, but she vehemently refused, even as Pastor Celestine warned that her refusal to abort the pregnancy would lead to the fall of the Parish. The Pastor allegedly issued a cheque of N2 million to the Choir member in a bid to convince her to terminate the pregnancy because of her health, which might cause her death while trying to procure an abortion. It was gathered that in a bid to avoid the scandal that the pregnancy would cause, Pastor Celestine drove himself in his car to Udu Bridge, parked his car and lit up himself under the bridge. Pastor Celestine, who had been married for the past 2 years, has a two -month old baby girl from his wife. This man will have a lot to answer for – adultery, conspiracy to procure an abortion, leading the flock of God astray, killing himself. Follow @9jaLife
