About six people have been reported dead and many sustained various degrees of injuries in an auto accident that happened near Opa Camp, along Ondo Road in Akure, Ondo state capital.
The accident was said to have happened at about 8.30 in the evening between an 18-seater Mazda commuter bus with registration number: XL 639 AKR, conveying passengers from Ondo to Akure and an unregistered Haojue motorcycle.
The Public Relations Officer of Ondo State Police Command, Mr Wole Ogodo who confirmed the incident explains that six people, including the motorcyclist were killed in the accident.
The Police P.R.O. added that the injured victims are currently receiving treatment in a hospital in Akure while the remains of the dead ones have been deposited in the mortuary.
