Abimbola Adelakun's recent piece on "Public personalities and their faux pas" is a good one. My disagreement however is the impression that the writer unwittingly created that God cannot protect. Though I appreciate her constant admonition that Nigerians should not use God to explain or give excuses for their failures, that position does not and can never diminish the fact that God is Omnipotent, Omnipresent and Omniscient.
