It was one of those credit committee meeting days when all relationship managers had to give a status report on their deposits – Cabal, as it's popularly called – as well as update the committee on the performance of loans within their portfolio.

Whilst her superiors may not acknowledge her efforts, she could draw encouragement and inspiration from the fact that they are also under pressure to deliver and may simply be transferring aggression.
