The officials of the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency take pride in showcasing what they have been able to achieve in other parts of the country on road maintenance, but the example in Lagos State is a tale of woes. Opposite LASU, Volkswagen, Barracks, before Badagry are spots that beggar belief. Oh God, they are not potholes by definition of any kind. While the expressway is being expanded by the Lagos State Government, regular maintenance is required along this area. This is an international route that should not be neglected like this. Some portions of the road were done in December, the remaining part should be attended to before the rains set in.
