GOVERNOR Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State on Sunday said his administration would immortalise the former governor, Alhaji Lam Adesina who died recently.
The governor spoke during the Fidau prayer held for the former governor and national leader of Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) at the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium.
The event was attended by friends, family members, political associates and other eminent personalities including former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, former governor of Lagos State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, National Chairman of ACN, Chief Bisi Akande, ACN governors, former governors Rashidi Ladoja and Omololu Olunloyo, the Chief Judge of Oyo State, Justice Badejoko Adeniji and the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Mrs. Monsurat Sunmonu.
Ajimobi, who said that no honour done to the late Adesina would be too much in view of his immense contribution to the growth and development of the state, pointed out that government would do a lot of things to immortalize deceased.
