The Objects of Beauty is a unique fair that combines key fashion and art segments in an innovative way.
Organised by renowned designer Nikki Khiran with some partners, the fair, which is designed mainly for creative people "is a mixture of wellness, beauty, interiors, lifestyle and fashion products and services.
The whole idea is to also promote the emerging brands, that is, young designers, who probably wouldn't have had the opportunity to showcase their products and also meet certain kinds of clientele who need their products. The idea is to expose them and their talents. And also to avail people the opportunity to do early shopping for the Christmas festivities offering shoppers a wide variety of products to buy at reasonable prices.
With the theme dubbed: "Showcasing the Best of African Creativity, the fair is basically an avenue to highlight African creativity and the organizers major focus is to highlight emerging brands with a lot of talents but are not well known.
Some participants at the fair will include Nike Arts Gallery, Gracious Gems, House of Dorcas, Baths and Beddings and a host of others.
Objects of beauty would become the biggest fashion and lifestyle event in Nigeria with reputable national and international partners in collaboration. It is a huge platform for manufacturers of garments, fabrics, hair and beauty, interior décor, arts and crafts products to exhibit the best of African creativity.
The pre-Christmas lifestyle fair which will hold at the prestigious Protea Westwood on Awolowo Road, Ikoyi on November 17 and 18 will end with a fashion show on Sunday.
