There was speculation sometime last week that Rap sensation, Nicki Minaj had endorsed Republican candidate, Mitt Romney for president of the United States. The speculation came about as a result of Nicki Minaj's verse on Lil Wayne's new mixtape Dedication 4, where she raps about casting her ballot for Romney, stating:
"I'm a Republican voting for Mitt Romney, you lazy b*****s are f*****g up the economy."
When President Barack Obama's response was sought on Nicki Minaj's rap verse he said:
"I'm not sure that is actually what happened. I think she had a song on there, a little rap that said that. But, she likes to play different characters. So I don't know what's going on there."
And Barack Obama did get an even clearer response from the rapper this time as she called the president "…Smart.." See her tweets below:
