This is so pathetic, to send a child to school and for him to be shot dead 20 days before graduation. May God help parents o, that's so sad. This cultism of a thing, when will it stop?
23 year old Daniel Ike popularly known as 'Afro Dan', a final year student of Chemical Engineering, University of Benin, was shot in the face on Friday night September 7th at Vincente Hostel, Ekosodin, just behind UNIBEN.
Daniel went to the hostel to see a female friend when he was attacked by some guys who shot him point blank in the face. Daniel died instantly. Students of the school and friends of Daniel who sent me this story said he had just 20 days left in school before graduation. He was supposed to start his final paper next week Monday.
The reason why he was killed is still unknown as friends say Daniel wasn't a cultist; he was just a popular good looking rich kid. His parents and the police have been informed about his murder.
So sad. RIP, Daniel!
