From Common to Pharrell to Nicki Minaj, Obama has connected with many of today's hip-hop stars and shown that he's in touch with the generation. To add onto his growing list of dopiness, hip-hop's first couple, Jay-Z and Beyoncé, will be hosting a fundraiser for President Obama at Jay's 40/40 club in New York City.
According to the New York Post, the President will have dinner with an intimate group of 100 friends, who will have dished out $40,000 to dine with him, Bey and Jay.
Guess Jay wasn't exaggerating when he boasted about having "Obama on the text". They may be cooler than we ever thought!
