Paul Bellas and Heidi Coxshall celebrated the happiest day of their life on Saturday by throwing a Shrek-themed wedding dressed as Shrek and Princess Fiona. Shrek out their photos.

The couple who lives in the small European country of Jersey, got the idea for their nuptials from watching the movie with their son Leo. "The essence is that Shrek represents true love. It doesn't matter who you are or what you look like, if the love is there then that is what it is about," says Paul.
Bride Heidi Bellas, 30, before and after her ogre makeover.
Groom Paul Bellas, 42, before and after his ogre tranformation.
The guests got into the spirit by wearing fairy tale costumes. "I was standing at the altar, there were only three guests in the room and they were dressed up. As the lift opened these people started to sit down but there was one dressed as a Flintstone with big feet," says Paul. "I started jumping up and down with laughter, if it wasn't for my friends and their embracing it, it wouldn't have been as special as it was."
One ferocious (and cute) little guest.
Shrek and Princess Fiona take their vows. According to Jersey law, the bride and groom have to be identified, so Paul had his green makeup applied in front of the registrar before the ceremony at the Radisson Hotel.
After making their love official, it's almost time for Princess Fiona to turn into an ogre.
The happy couple cut their wedding cake-topped with Shrek figurines, of course!
Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Shrek! We wish them a happily ever after.
