The Creative Entrepreneurs Association of Nigeria on Saturday February 23, 2013 during its Creative Industry Awards declared Chris Ubosi as the 'Creative Entrepreneur of the Year 2012'.
Ubosi, the founder of Magelectrics Limited, operators of Beat 99.9 FM, Classic FM 97.3 and Naija FM 102.7, three licensed indigenous radio stations in Nigeria was also winner of the Audio Visual Category.

The Awards, organized by the Creative Entrepreneurs Association of Nigeria (CEAN) rewards initiative, talent, creativity and entrepreneurship across the creative industries, recognizing the central role they play in the development of a competitive and sustainable creative economy.
