UGHELLI—WORRIED by the alleged attack on Okorogwe community, Okpe Local Government Area, Delta State, by a suspected secret cult group, the people, weekend, dissolved the community executive led by Mr. Lucky Ikpini, accusing it of complicity in the attack.
The community was two months ago deserted after it was allegedly attacked by a secret cult over sand dredging dispute. The Ikpini-led executive was dissolved at an emergency meeting of the community convened by its elders.
Passing a vote of no confidence on Ikpini’s administration, the people accused the dissolved executive of violating the rules and regulations of the community.”
