Law Union and Rock Insurance Plc has expressed its commitment to corporate social responsibility, especially in alleviating the plight of the less privileged.
In a statement on Friday, the firm expressed this while donating some materials to Modupe Cole Memorial Child Care and Treatment Home, a school for mentally and physically challenged children, in Yaba, during a courtesy visit.
The company said the team on the visit consisted of Miss Ngozi Ochei, of the Corporate Communications Unit, and Miss Stella Bello, which was led by its Head of Strategy and Planning, Mr. Okorie Imo.
It added that various food items, toiletries, household items (Utilities) and cash were donated.
According to the statement, the Head Teacher of the School, Mrs. F. A. Durowoju, students and staff of the home expressed their gratitude to the organisation.
The firm stated that the purpose of the visit is in line with the spirit of the Yuletide season.
