Lobi Stars are determined to win honours this season. The team Media Officer, Ator Terkula, said on Thursday that their target was to win trophies when the Nigeria Premier League and the CAF Confederation Cup kick off.
Terkula told the News Agency of Nigeria on telephone that the club had submitted its list to CAF for the Confederation Cup, stressing that Lobi was getting prepared.
Lobi would kick off their continental campaign in March.
He said, “The club will also contend strongly for the league title after finishing in the third position in the 2011/12 season because as a club, we have a target, which is to win trophies''.
According to him, they hope to put up an impressive performance during the league season, and also at the continental level. “We have submitted a provisional list of players we shall use for our continental engagement and we believe they're our best,” Terkula said.
