Victoria Azarenka has won the Cincinnati Open title, beating world number One, Serena Williams, 2-6, 6-2, 7-6.
The match lasted 2hours, 29 minutes.
Serena took the first set, but Victoria rallied back in the second set, also taking it 6-2. The decider set became a ding-dong affair, as Serena fought back from 2-4 down, to make the scoreline 5-4.
But the American flopped when serving for the match, giving Azarenka a lifeline to come back into the game. The set went into a tie break, with
Serena coming from behind at 1-3, to lead Azarenka 5-4, only for Serena to lose control again.
Serena Williams has never won the title in her career.
