The gubernatorial Appeal Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has cleared one of the governorship aspirants, Mr. Godwin Ezeemo, announcing his eligibility to contest in the party primary slated for September 2nd.
The recent declaration has set aside the decision of the party's Primary Screening Committee, which stated earlier that the party has chosen a candidate for the November 16th governorship election in the person of Senator Chris Ngige, a decision that prompted party faithfuls to protest,joining the candidate in his protest in what was termed as imposition of candidate.
Mr. Ezeemo took his appealed to the party's gubernatorial panel that considered the matter and arrived at a decision that paved way for democracy to thrive in the party.
The aspirant however urged his loyalists to do the needful during the primary in order to cap their struggle.
