Zambia have cancelled a final warm-up game against Namibia that would have been played on Tuesday in Nelspruit.
Namibia Football Association president John Muinjo said in a statement that the friendly was cancelled following consultations with his Zambian counterpart Kalusha Bwalya.
"They (Zambia) are citing a strenuous scheduling as the reason for the cancellation of the January 15 friendly in Nelspruit and Kalusha has indicated this to me," Muinjo said.
"Their coach wants the final week before the Nations Cup to be used as a winding down period."
The development means Zambia's friendly at home against Norway on December 12 at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola will be Herve Renard's teams' final warm-up game.
Zambia have so far played four build-up matches, losing three and drawing one.
