Poko Mistress Tonto Dikeh yesterday dropped the video for the much anticipated video for her 1st single Itz Ova.
Let me just start by saying apart from the obvious fact that Tonto’s singing leaves a lot to be desired, the Gbemi Phillips directed clip impressed me, I loved the colours & the styling which was done by Bolaji Animashaun.
A few things stood out to me when watching the video. Check them out after the jump
1. My mother taught me to always keep my legs closed and crossed like a lady but Miss Dikeh didn’t get that memo.
2. Tonto was so feeling herself, cos she covered the entire spectrum of facial expressions in this 3 minute video ranging from scary to amusing. Pick your fave…
3. NBC (Nigerian Broadcasting Commission) Is going to ban this video, It has a very raunchy vibe, but Tonto probably doesn’t give a POKO about NBC.
4.There was also some girl on girl boob grabbing action. If NBC wasn’t going to ban it before this will definitely seal the deal for the video.
5. We finally learn what the infamous Tonto term #POKO means, judging from the middle finger edit, POKO means F**K You! Tonto kindly clarify if I’m wrong.
