One of the problems with the internet is it’s hard to gauge which company is reliable and which is trustworthy. The internet is a great way to advertise your company and one of the best ways to market your brand. But to demonstrate that you’re confident about your brand you need to get out there amongst your competitors and customers – and the best way to do this is to go to exhibitions.
Exhibitions allow you to show off your products. If clients and competitors see you getting out there and talking enthusiastically about your product, you’re going to see some positive results.  
However, you can’t go out there with all guns blazing without any ammunition. Preparation! Preparation! Preparation!

Colour is an important element within design. Colours have connotations and your colour needs to reflect your ethos.  Are you a fun company? Are you a modern company? Are you a serious company? Think of Google – they want to appear as a fun, modern, accessible brand therefore they adopt bright, fun and engaging colours.
The exterior of your exhibition stand also needs to reflect your company. Take time to think of how you’ll be perceived from passersby. A slick, eye catching design can help attract people into your stand to listen to what you have to say. Leading on to the valuable point of ‘Knowing what you’re talking about!’
Make sure you know what you’re selling inside and out! Exhibitions stands can all be for nothing if you or your employees don’t know what you’re talking about. Make sure you know your product like the back of your hand. You want to convert your observers into customers; the gift of the gab can go a long way.     
Tuck your shirt in! I know it may be something that your mum used to tell you when you used to leave the house – but looking good gives off a good impression. Make sure your dress code encompasses who you are as a business but also shows your customers that you’re professional.   
You want your stand to be busy! Show everyone in the room that you’re successful and proactive. You don’t want to look like the lonely kid at the party waiting for someone to ask you for a dance. Your stand needs to be engaging, inviting and open.
Exhibitions show your industry, your customers and your competitors that you’re confident, reliable and proud of your brand. Don’t pass up the opportunity to show off – it’ll pay off.
