Former Head of State and a former presidential candidate, Maj-Gen Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) has lost his first daughter Zulai. She passed away on Thursday evening after delivering a baby in Kaduna.
Zulai Buhari, 40, died from sickle cell anemia. According to Sahara Reporters she developed complications after having a baby two days ago at Chasel Hospital, a private clinic .
She passed away despite efforts save her. However, the new born baby is healthy and doing well. She left behind Amira, Moh'd and the two-day-old baby girl.
