I was so glad when I read in The PUNCH, Wednesday, November 14, that the Arewa Consultative Forum was demanding death penalty for corruption, opposed state creation and rotational presidency in the constitution review makes a good reading. I commend our brothers in the north for this good thinking. This is quite unlike my brothers in the south who will like to turn every village to a state so that they can acquire every allocation from the Federal Government to their private pocket if the state is eventually created. It is sad that this group of people will never talk of how to compel the Federal Government to fight corruption with zeal.
