Vice Chancellor, Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State, Prof Timothy Olagbemiro has announced the institution's 7th convocation slated for Saturday and Sunday saying that the 7th convocation and 10th anniversary will be dedicated to stock taking and self assessment.
Speaking on the convocation ceremony, he said that it will feature award of First Degree and Prizes for Faculty of Social and Management Sciences as well as conferment of Honorary Degree, award of Postgraduate, First Degree and Prizes in the College of Health Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture, and Faculty of Science and Science Education.
According to him, the university, within the short period of existence, has produced first rate graduates in science, technology and the
humanities, who combine godliness and academic excellence with a strong
sense of ethical responsibility towards the development of the society at large.
Olagbemiro, in a statement announcing a week-long anniversary which started October 29, said the institution has lived up to its mission of providing high quality, morally sound and socially relevant education, in the most cost effective manner, to all its students, irrespective of gender, race, colour, ethnicity or religion.
