Ondo State Gubernatorial Election Update: Mimiko In Early Lead…Akeredolu Defeated In His Ward Oct 20th 2012, 17:31 Baring last minute Abraca-da-bra, incumbent governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko is set to win the state's gubernatorial elections held on Saturday. Latest reports coming say CAN candidate, Barrister Rotimi Akeredolu was defeated in his own ward by the Mimiko with almost double of the votes he garnered. Few of the results already released are: Akeredolu's ward in Owo ACN: 287 LP: 420 PDP: 292 With the results released so far, Labour Party is leading with a wide margin, while PDP and ACN are fighting it out for the second position.
