Fabrice Muamba and Shauna Magunda |
Miracle man Fabrice Muamba is set to marry his fiancée in a lavish ceremony today [Oct. 21].
The former Bolton football ace, who had a cardiac arrest on the pitch during an FA Cup game in March, will wed long-term love Shauna Magunda.
Fabrice, 24, and Shauna, 27, who have a three-year-old son Josh, got engaged on Valentine's Day this year. It is believed the wedding will take place at Peckforton Castle in Tarporley, Cheshire.
Manchester United striker Robin van Persie and Bolton stars are expected to attend.
Fabrice's "guardian angels" Bolton club doctor Jonathan Tobin and cardiologist Dr Sam Mohiddin will also be among the guests.
They battled to save the Zaire-born player's life when he suffered the cardiac arrest in a game against Spurs.
His heart stopped beating normally for 78 minutes.
Despite making a miracle recovery, he was eventually forced to retire from professional football in August.
