A study at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center shows that people in a good, supportive relationship actually live longer and better lives, reports the Huffington Post. The research also says individuals look younger and are significantly healthier than those who are single and making the dating rounds or in bad relationships. Though the information is sound, scholars are not able to give an exact reason to what makes a happy couple achieve a fountain of youth. Theories include partners in a strong relationship feel that they are in a "safe haven." Also, if someone enjoys coming home to their partner, then she is a calmer, more relaxed person.
