The days of crying are over, says Pastor Chidi
Sep 21st 2013, 23:03, by TAI ANYANWU

Friday's deliverance vigil at Kings in Christ Church, Ajao Estate, Lagos, was a night of awesome emancipation for many who had laboured under different satanic afflictions.

The events had attracted a full house; and the overflow facilities of the worship arena stretched up to the fringe of popular Osolo Way, Ajao Estate.

Recently, the church headed by Pastor Chidi Anthony has shot into prominence following amazing fulfillment of prophetic utterances of the charismatic presiding minister. Visitors from different locations within and outside Lagos had begun to arrive at the venue three days prior to the schedule date. Before 10 pm, there was no more sitting space in the auditorium which appears to be begging for immediate expansion.

While the attendees continued to pour into the venue, the Kings choir ignited the congregation with infectious songs of praise to God Most High. After the first segment of praise, came a pause during which about seven people testified to the goodness of the God of King in Christ in their lives and circumstance. A man simply identified as Brother John shook the congregation.

He said: "This John wey you see here today; you for no see me anymore. Maybe una for see my obituary Poster."

He explained that he had travelled to Kaduna over the weekend. After his first night, a friend had asked to buy him launch; and he took the friend to a hotel where the friend rather preferred to have a drink. While the friend was sipping his drink an anonymous caller alerted John that he was needed at their Kaduna office.

"I was sitting behind him. Within 30 minutes, I received a call asking me, 'John where are you? I replied; I dey Sabo Gari side. The voice said come to the office immediately." Brother John said he quickly excused himself and went back to his office.

"I reach our office and asked our manager and other officer, 'You called me sir? Everyone said No, Nobody called you from here. I dialed the number wey call me, it was not reachable; but just then bomb exploded at the hotel and my friend was killed instantly. I for died also if not for the anonymous caller. I thank the God of king in Christ because he has proved the covenant of life wey we have in this church," Brother John announced.

With that testimony, pastor Chidi stepped onto the pulpit celebrating God. Speaking authoritatively, he declared no member of the church would die prematurely "because that is the covenant we have with God.

"Tonight power will jam power and when two powers jam the lesser power will bow. Every altar that has been speaking against you, by the power in the house tonight, I command that altar to catch fire, in the name of Jesus.

Progressing into the message of the night, he read verbosely the scripture in 2nd Chronicle 4: from verse 9 and explained how Jabez was born into difficult circumstances.

The prophet in the house recalled that Jabez leaned on the power of the God of heaven to deliver him from his family's abject poverty and eventually got a break through. Upon that understanding, Pastor Chidi prophesied to the anxious congregation that freedom was coming their way by the power of the unction that was present at the event. "Listen to me; the days of crying are over. Let me tell you something about God.

If God wants to bless you, you don't need to struggle. Let me tell you another thing, about this God we serve. Whatever you reject will never come your way. "And anytime you magnify or see something as being bigger than your God you will never be able to conquer that thing. But if you count it smaller before your God; your God will take you beyond and greater than that problem, he explained.

Jabez, he said, not only gave God the pride of place by recognizing his immense saving power he took the bull by the horn and cried out to God in what has become the famous Jabez prayer of deliverance.

"Hear me: until you decide to take the bull by the horn only then shall you walk into your destiny. Since the arrival of John the Baptist, heaven suffered violence only the violent people take it by force. Listen to me; it is high time we take our destiny in our hands. Any man that will stand against your miracle, I release fire against in the mighty name of Jesus.

"The Bible says that Jephthah was born by a prostitute; one day his brethren gathered and said to Jephthah you do not belong to this family because you were born by a prostitute. We don't need you; you don't have any inheritance in this family. You are not a bonafide son therefore look for your father wherever.

As it were, a war arose against the brethren of Jephthah; and then Jephthah had emerged leader of a group of might men. His brothers knew that if there was anyone capable of withstanding the external aggression against Jephthah's kinsmen, that person was Jephthah.

When war arose against the brethren of Jephthah, they ran to Jephtah who was then leading a band of mighty warriors for redemption. But it was Jephtah's turn to give his bropther's condition. Sliding into his prophetic mode, Pastor chidi said, "you may have been rejected for so long, but hear me; God is going to changes situations tonight. I told you a story that the first time I saw Coca cola, coke was in 29 Cl., small bottle. I looked at coke I said coke is everywhere but look at you in small bottle.

Coke looked at me and laughed and said don't worry I am coming. The next time I saw Coke it left 29cl to 35 Cl. (Orobo.) I thought it was a joke, but Coke said to me 'It will never end on this 35; just check me out shortly.' When next I saw coke it had entered 50Cl. Then the last time I saw coke, it was in one liter.

'If ordinary Coke will be moving from level to another; I prophesy to you, any moment from now you are moving to the next level, in the name of Jesus. Let me tell you, I am not afraid of coming late. Because anything that comes late becomes latest.

Can I prophesy to you the way I feel? Any moment from now, your miracle is coming your way and if you believe it shout a big amen. Listen to this; if a hen lays an egg, it will hatch in 21 days and after 21 days, it will hatch, and little chicks will come out, looking very small. When a goat becomes pregnant, the pregnancy will last for three months. On the day of delivery a little goat will come out. The baby goat will be bigger than the chick because their days are not the same.

"But when an elephant gets pregnant, it will carry the baby elephant for about 11 months. On the day of delivery, the little elephant that will come out will be bigger than the little goat and chicken because their days are not the same. Let me ask you sir. Do you know why your miracle has been lingering? Hear me; any moment from now elephant miracle shall be your portion, in the name of Jesus.

"Let me tell you something child of God, in everything you are doing, pray that the hand of God would be upon that thing. If the hand of God is upon your endeavour, your success is guaranteed. I want you to change your mentality. Jabez did not allow the circumstances of his birth to weigh him down. He said, 'No, my case must be different.'

"With that same spirit, take yourselves in twos and pray your way to fulfillment. Call down fire against every enemy of your success, in the name of Jesus," he concluded.
