Kasimpasa: Kalu Uche demands pay raise
Aug 22nd 2013, 23:00, by our reporter

Super Eagles and Kasimpasa forward, Kalu Uche has reportedly demanded a pay rise from his employers.

The 30 year-old prolific forward proved his mettle last season by netting 19 times to help the club finish sixth on the Super Lig table despite just making his debut in the Turkish league.

Uche has therefore asked that his salary be more than doubled, amid talks that the Nigeria striker has attracted interest from other Super Lig sides according to football411.

Uche is believed to be asking for a €1.8million as against his current €800,000 for his monthly services as he looks to negotiate new terms with the Istanbul-based outfit.

Should Uche and his employers fail to come to an agreement, the Eagles forward could find himself spoilt for choice as Trabzonspor are reportedly keen on signing him.

The Nigerian international who is still recuperating from a minor surgery he had earlier this summer missed Kasimpasa's loss to Karabukspor in their 2013/14 season opener on Saturday.
