How do you know you’re a boss? When the women in your state come out in their hundreds to celebrate you as your turn 50.
They were ably led his Special Adviser on Women Mobilisation, Getrude Oduka. At least no one will say she isn’t doing her job.
“We want to show our appreciation to the governor in our own little way,” the gracious madam told curious newsmen. “Since he assumed office, Imo has improved; Imo women appreciate him and we urge him to do more.”
The grateful women were joined by a former commissioner in the Imo Indepedent Electoral Commission, Josephone Udorji, who was overwhelmed with joy.
“The people of Imo are asking for more,” she revealed. “We pray for more blessing for the governor and his wife.”
