Follow @9jaLife A slow news day, a hidden agenda, a score to settle? Not quite sure why, but tabloid, Nigerian Enquirer decided to libel Maltina DanceHall host, Kemi Adetiba with a story about her being arrested by the EFCC over an alleged N15 Million fraud. If Nigerian Enquirer had done even a basic amount of research, it would have discovered that over the last few months, other than hosting the Maltina DanceHall show, Ms. Adetiba has been shuttling between NYC, USA and Europe, and not cooling her heels with EFCC or any other agency. Either way, she finally responded to the allegations via twitter yesterday: It has been brought to my attention that Nigerian Enquirer magazine published an article designed and calculated to tarnish my reputation. I want to say most emphatically that there is no truth in the story!!! I therefore serve notice to one and all, that no stone will be left unturned to seek justice from this clear case of libel. My lawyers have been instructed to institute legal action against all concerned.I thank friends & well wishers for their concern and support. p.s. Delay to responding has been because I’ve been away on holiday in Europe for the last 2weeks… . . .but the details of suit will be made public within days. Thanks again for the support guys Follow @9jaLife
