AFRO hip hop star Wande Coal popularly called The Black Diamond is presently in the UK to shoot the video of his latest hit singles.
He teamed up with Ace video director Sesan Ogunro for this high budget music video in the United Kingdom.
Before the 'Rotate' crooner flew out last week, he said in a statement he was excited he was taking his career to a new height as "this is a new dawn for my career and myself and in due course, the public will be in the know as to the new things that are happening to Wande Coal, when I return to my dear country, Nigeria." He is expected to host a world press conference to announce some changes in his profile on his return from the UK.
The former member of the defunct Mo' Hits squad will spend a couple of weeks in the UK doing some new recordings while also shooting the music video.
Oluwande Ojosipe, popularly known as Wande Coal aka The Black Diamond is a
singer/songwriter who started his journey as a professional musician in 2006 under the highly acclaimed Mo Hits Records. His time with the label saw Wande create a space for himself in the hearts of the Nigerian youth through his remarkable musical talent.
In a short while Wande was the favourite artiste of many and his songs were the anthems ringing on the airwaves. Wande Coal is an entertainer and never ceases to thrill his audience wherever he performs. In his debut album titled M-to-M, Wande scored a good number of hits which saw him officially move from the status of a talented singer to a superstar
Till date, Wande is one of the few Nigerian artistes who can boast of consistency in his career as the quality of his work which can be judged by its acceptance is always excellent.
If statistics are anything to go by, from the amount of airplay attention and love the multiple awards winner is currently receiving from his released singles, it is a no brainer to state that his musical offering in the body of his sophomore album is one of the most anticipated in 2013.
Wande coal will be launching his album under his very own label, Black Diamond Entertainment, later this year.
On why he chose to shoot his video in the UK as against the South African craze, Wande Coal said: "Everybody's got his own style and taste and what I want to achieve with the videos… it's important I shoot it in the UK and Nigerians would soon know why I elected to shoot the video here."
