Ebenezer Paul, 12, Ajakaye Street, Mangoro, Lagos State, +23480337199: In order to ensure free flow of traffic along the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, the Lagos State Government in its wisdom blocked an exit road into Dopemu by the Dopemu bridge thereby leaving the next exit road which is about 150 metres to the bridge the only legal road for all motorists going to Dopemu and Egbeda. Curiously, the Chairman of Agege Local Government Area recently created a slab just by the bridge where Agberos and thugs now collect toll from motorists using the slab with its attendant traffic mayhem along the expressway sometimes stretching from the spot to Oshodi at peak period everyday. If the chairman wants to settle his political cronies, it should not be at the expense of the good people of Lagos using that road. I implore Governor Babatunde Fashola or the Lagos State Traffic Management Agency to immediately order the destruction of the illegal slab. The suffering is too much. I also urge the press to follow up this matter.
