Follow @9jaLife THERE was tragedy  at the Mayo Belwa Local Government Area of Adamawa State  Wednesday night  when a police Inspector posted to the private residence of Governor Murtala Nyako ran amock,  killed his wife  and that of his land lord. An eye witness told Vanguard in Yola that the Inspector (names withheld), who refused to surrender his arms and ammunition to the divisional police armourer  after closing from  duty, went home with it to allegedly kill the victims. It was gathered that  the officer on reaching home first shot his wife dead before turning to his landlord's wife and equally killed her. However, his  land lord was  said to have  escaped,  when he discovered that his wife and that of the policeman  had been shot dead. The landlord was said to have reported the incident at the Divisional Police Station in the area. Adamawa State Police command  confirmed the incident . The Police Public Relation's  Officer, PPRO , Ibrahim Mohammed,  who spoke to newsmen said that the suspect had since been arrested and is currently undergoing interrogation at the state CID.
