Follow @9jaLife The persecution watch group Open Doors has released its 2013 World Watch List of the 50 countries where Christians are most persecuted, Nigeria comes in at #13, 2013 World Watch List Countries 1 North Korea 2 Saudi Arabia 3 Afghanistan 4 Iraq 5 Somalia 6 Maldives 7 Mali 8 Iran 9 Yemen 10 Eritrea 11 Syria 12 Sudan 13 Nigeria 14 Pakistan 15 Ethiopia 16 Uzbekistan 17 Libya 18 Laos 19 Turkmenistan 20 Qatar 21 Vietnam 22 Oman 23 Mauritania 24 Tanzania 25 Egypt Here’s what they wrote about Nigeria: The Islamist agenda to bring Nigeria under the 'House of Islam' versus the election of a southern Christian as President has caused much unrest. The Islamist group, Boko Haram, has claimed the lives of at least 800 Christians. The decisions of local government, especially in the twelve northern Sharia states, mean that Christians experience restrictions in schooling, threats of abduction, forced marriage, as well as denial of employment, clean water and healthcare. It is dangerous to convert and for churches to integrate new converts. Entire List Source : Open Doors Follow @9jaLife
