Osun Man Arrested For Using Magic To Steal A Car, Claimed Ignition Key Had ‘Transformed’ Into An Egg

Follow @9jaLife   A drama played out on Monday at Chief Magistrate Court 3 in Osogbo, Osun State, when a suspect who was charged to court, ran mad on the court premises to the surprise of all that were present. The suspect, Saheed Oladunni, was charged to court based on the allegation that he wanted to steal the car that was taken to his car wash by telling the driver that the key had turned to an egg and also demanding that he should be given N80,000 if the driver would want the egg to be transformed into the car key. Information gathered by Crime Reports revealed that a technician had taken a Honda Accord car to Oladunni on Saturday, January 5 for washing and had left the key with him so that he could clean the interior. To the man's surprise, by the time he came for the car, Oladunni had not washed it. He then told the technician that he wanted to go and buy detergent, only to come back after a long time to say that the car key had turned into an egg inside the pocket. He was said to have initially demanded for N250,000 so that he could go to his Alfa (Islamic teacher) to change the egg back to the car key. After promising to give him N50,000, the technician agreed to follow him to the Alfa but on the way, he directed the okada rider to a police station at Dugbe area of Osogbo. Crime Reports gathered that immediately they stepped into the police station, Oladunni, squeezed and broke the egg in his pocket. To the surprise of everyone, Oladunni brought out the key from the mess the broken egg formed. The complainant told Crime Reports that he was more surprised than others because they had already frisked the suspect without seeing any key on him. In an interview, Oladunni, an Osogbo indigene, told Crime Reports that "I started with aluminium work but later started working at a cash wash.
