‘First thing a lot of people don’t understand is that marriage is not a physical but a spiritual thing and apart from praise, it is something God loves a lot, so I advise that God be included before anything starts at all. Again, you must ensure that your partner is your friend and it doesn’t matter if the courtship stage is long or short but both of you must grow into something and ensure a great communication’ he said.
On the possible challenges and how to over come them, Adeolu says ‘Most couples have disagreements on giving, but I will advise that each party give whatever it takes and not expect anything in return. While you are giving and she’s giving you both are receiving. Another challenge, he says could be could be changes, ’You must expect that changes will occur in your marriage. his changes could be because of so many things like change of job, environment and other factors. At such times there is a need for great understanding to be able to pull through’.
