The Cote D'Ivoire player is on a hunt for his first African Cup of Nations trophy. Drogba, who currently plays for Shanghai Shenhua in China, has played in the final in two occasions and lost. He lost both finals in 2006 and 2012 to Egypt and Zambia respectively via penalty shoot-out.

The African Cup of Nations is the only title eluding the power centre forward. Didier Drogba has been part of teams that won the Champions League once, the Barclays Premier League three times, and the FA Cup a record 4 times. Winning the African Cup of Nations will cement his place in the history books as one of Africa's most decorated players.

Like in all AFCON tournaments, Ivory Coast has been tagged as favourites. The captain of the Elephants believes this is the perfect time for the squad to win the tournament which has eluded them. Didier Drogba is now 34, and this is most likely his last chance at winning the continental trophy.
